Tudors at the Tower is back for a second year

Immerse yourself in a living Tudor world in the Tower’s moat. Help King Henry VIII’s courtiers to prepare for Anne Boleyn’s coronation. Join characters from the past and embark on a royal quest by taking part in a masque, learn to be a court fool or pick up ‘knightly’ skills to be presented to Queen Anne.

Enjoy hands-on family activities including Tudor crafts and games. Meet Tudor blacksmiths, carpenters, cooks and stonemasons. Try your hand at candle-making or have a go with a crossbow! Don’t forget to visit the pop-up palace to experience interactive 360-degree films.

Polly was one of the curators who researched the history of the Chocolate Kitchen at Hampton Court Palace, which were re-opened to our visitors in 2014.
